Objective of Cell
- The objective of the cell is to provide formal platform to students for exploring abilities in singing, drama, music, painting, literature etc to foster their creativity & various dimensions of their personality. This will facilitate all-round development of students.
- Plan & coordinate activities such as Cultural events by giving special thought as how & when to provide opportunity/occasion to improve the students ability to apply knowledge & creativity; ability to work in institute & multidisciplinary team; ability to express/communicate effectively; ability to delegate institute/team; to respect & value for academic freedom & transparency; ability to coordinate & organize events; ability to understand professional & ethical responsibility; ability to understand contemporary issues; ability to use skills & techniques; ability to analyze social, political, educational & cultural structure & heritage; ability to plan the work for efficient use of time and resources; ability to respect & value excellence, innovation, diversity of community & diversity of ideas; ability to cultivate & promote democratic values and the search for wisdom and understanding.
- The cell is preparing & publishing Wall & college magazine.
- Prepare budget for the cell for approval in the month of April & forward activity plan of next academic session for incorporation into Academic Planner.
- Report summary to the head of institute in the form of resources available, systems or mechanisms evolved & impact. Identify deviations from predetermined norms if any & incorporate statements in the summary report on possible remedies/ further actions.
